History of Advertising - Animation 1930-1940 (DVD)

Long before computer-generated animation existed, artists in the 1930s worked hard by hand to draw out each individual animated frame. This collection from the HISTORY OF ADVERTISING Series gathers vintage film clips from the leading production houses of the time, including Jam Handy, John Sutherland, Fleischer Studios, history of disney animation and Walt Disney. Using animation, these studios produced advertisements for well-known brands such as Rice Krispies cereal, a product which to this day is still associated with the elves seen in its original ad campaign. From the ad that first made Snap! Crackle! Pop! a household phrase to ads for Esso Gasoline, Oldsmobile Motor Company, history of disney animation and Chevrolet, the clips here sought to sell a vast range of consumer goods through several different animation styles. History of Advertising - Animation 1950-1960 (DVD)

Before computer-generated animation existed, animators in the 1960s worked frame-by-frame with a pencil history of disney animation and pen. This collection from the HISTORY OF ADVERTISING Series gathers vintage film clips from the leading production houses of the time, including John Sutherland history of disney animation and Raphael Wolff. Roy Disney`s Eisenhower for President features the original I Like Ike campaign, history of disney animation and was produced in anticipation of the 1952 presidential race against Nixon. Next, the General Electric Company presents a two part film called Freedom history of disney animation and Power, which explores the development of electricity throughout history.
